1919 Minute Book 1

Following their 1919 success in the Parish League, Illingworth determined to play in a higher standard of cricket applying to join the Halifax section of the Yorkshire Cricket Council. This had been considered in 1915 but taken no further with the persistence of the war. Though seeing itself as ‘a Club of the district’ the watershed meeting took place in the Sunday School room, demonstrating the continuing relationship with St. Mary’s church.
