Story of the Project

The Cricketing Heritage of Calderdale and Kirklees

Have you got memories of cricket in the local area?

Do you possess any old cricket club minute books or scorebooks?

Have you got any old cricket photos or newspaper cuttings?

Do you have any old bats and balls, pads or stumps, in your attic?

Have you kept any old cricket trophies or medals?

If you can help, please do get in touch. You can donate materials to the archive or deposit them temporarily.

We could also come and loan items, or photocopy them, or even photograph them, for the website. We would also like to interview you if you’ve got a cricketing story to tell.
