A multi-pitch arena, it was opened in the mid-1980s and over the next two decades became home to various Halifax Association sides including Greetland Village CC, Halifax Muslims CC, Halifax Salem CC, Jenny Dees CC, New Riding CC, Stirk Bridge CC, Wesley CC, and Whetley Motors CC.
