Greatest Moment

Winning Huddersfield Central League Section ‘B’ in 1999.

Local Hero

Julie Dolley - active member of the club who also sits on the Huddersfield Central League Disciplinary and Grounds Committee.

Bizarre Fact

In 1976 Birkby FMA bowled out Salendine Nook Old Boys for 32.

Britannia Works

The field is flat, bordered on one side by a football pitch and on the other by a dirt track. Small white flags denote where the boundary has been set. The pavilion block incorporates a set of changing rooms, a tea room and a bar - where the Birkby lads tend to end up after a hard Saturday afternoon slog.

Club spokesman Mark Knight says: 'The facilities are fine. We've got showers - which even some Premiership clubs don't have - and having our own clubhouse is great. The bar is a good one, which really does make a difference.'
