1867 Cup Team

This was Holmfirth's first knockout triumph. The newspaper report says that it was a Silkstone-based competition and the successful Holmfirth side travelled back via Brockholes and Thongsbridge to be met by the Holmfirth Temperance Band. Unfortunately, the trophy seemed to get damaged in the course of the celebrations!
